Cocktail talk
August 17th, 2007 | by |People love to mention the schools they have attended, how rich they are, and etc.,
In the end, it means very little. For that brief flicker of time, you experience the 15min Warhol moment when you mention your status.
What you do with your education and your money (besides buying a big house or nice car) is really the key to life. Has it made you happier? Or, are you just self -medicating yourself by drinking more, buying more, and eating more?
In the martial arts, people love to mention their “master”, the lineage, and all the other nonsense talk that comes with it. What you do with the martial arts, to improve your life, is important.
The martial arts can help you lose weight, get fit and make you happier. You have to attend a school that will help you reach these goals. If there is another agenda that is present, then I would look elsewhere.
Life is shorter than you think. Even though you think your thoughts are eternal, your body is only organic matter - with a short shelf life.
Empower yourself by making yourself healthier and happier.
