Learning to fill the buckets in the future

December 9th, 2007 | by |

Lately, we have been having “visitors” from other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA schools. These “prospects” are  trying to figure out what we do. The truth is that it is only hard work. We are flattered that these individuals are coming by - it  is a confirmation that we are doing something right.

For martial arts academies, any regular business, or your personal martial arts training, trying to fill the buckets of the past ( being concerned of your competition) only keeps you one dimensional. Ignoring the competition and focusing on yourself, setting goals, and working hard will get you where you want to go.

Focusing on your competition keeps you within that little fishbowl you call “Home”.
