Orange County is not as safe as you think
March 24th, 2007 | by |Recently, a teenage girl was almost abducted in Aliso Viejo. She fought off her attacker successfully, but she was very lucky. A recent study found that criminals are beginning to prey on wealthier neighborhoods. The results of the study concluded that the residents of wealthier neighborhoods were less prepared for defenses against crime. The people polled in the study said that police response time was sufficient for most criminal activity.
Here is a recent article from the OC Register:
Cities paying the Orange County Sheriff’s Department for protection get fewer officers and wait longer for help than cities with their own police departments, an Orange County Register investigation found.
All but three of the 12 cities that contract with the Sheriff’s Department finished with below-average scores in a Register report card grading Orange County police agencies. Generally, the sheriff cities had the slowest response times for life-threatening calls, and half of those cities scored poorly in solving crime.
OC Jiu Jitsu and MMA has one of the few reality self defense facilities in the country. -better than any Israeli self defense program. Why? Because our program is not size specific. The same techniques can be applied to an attacker of any size. No other program has addressed this issue. Our instructors are also professional MMA fighters (they have fought in K-1, IFL, King of the Cage - to name a few) and self defense instructors to the Force Recon, Navy SEALs, US Air Marshalls and etc., What self defense program have professional fighters as their staff members?
Our Navy SEAL Rapid Assault Tactics program is one of the few programs currently used by the TEAMS. Good enough for the SEALs, it should be good enough for you.
