Giving out the Wal Mart black belt
July 7th, 2007 | by |When you shape your child for adulthood, the last thing you want to do is to teach them the concept of entitlement. Most of the martial arts academies give the black belts within a very specified time period. - like a 3 year package.
You are doing more harm than good to your child. Imagine when they are adults and approach their boss about a raise or promotion based on time?
Performance and flexibility is the key to survival in the work world. Shielding your child from the real world only makes it worse.
Prepare your child for the “real” world and let them earn their rank.
