Our dynamic programs

Martial arts programs are not meant to be static. Many martial arts academies will use the words “traditional” to stay with the status quo.
We are a school that is continuously improving, month-to-month, to give the customers the best value for their money. Our recent improvement was to incorporate the DefendFast program into the MMA. Why?

Believe it or not, we have received many phone calls asking for self defense classes. 9 out of 10 customers feel that a weekend course should give them the skills to defend themselves. I recently had a mother call me and inquired if her daughter could take a weekend class before she goes to college in a dangerous urban area - USC.

I can only shake my head on why people can not understand that learning self defense takes skill. And, skill takes time. This is why people are caught off guard and victims of crime.

Here is what people are thinking:

  1. Crime will really not happen to them.
  2. Don’t the criminals understand that their acts are against the law and the police will arrive in seconds?
  3. They can intellectualize the concepts and therefore it will translate into learned behavior.

The MMA program will give you the same skills set to fight in the cage and defend yourself in the streets. The DefendFast course will take it one step further by showing you how to defend against a bottle, knife, stick and etc.,

The DefendFast is only a small portion of the MMA program, but is is a skill that may come in handy one day.
